The BBC acquired a botnet to demonstrate why black-hat hackers want to control your PC.

  • The Beeb educated the general public on the existence of "botnets" and informed over 20k infected machines that they were infected and how to prevent them from being targeted in the future.

The Beeb practically saved them from being abused financially!

Yet you believe for that they should be penalised?

Perhaps they should also arrest the real hustle cast as well?

The only thing around here that should be illegal is your moronic opinion!

  • Bullshit they should be in jail, they informed over 20,000 computer users that their machines were compromised! I can't wait for the day that your gets compromised without your knowledge. Imagine, you're typing away, entering passwords to eBay and Paypal etc, whilst some script kiddie is sat at home seeling your details to 3rd parties. Oh, how I will laugh. Have fun.....

  • @Louix94 - download Peerblock (google it) its a free program to block port scans - and see what you find scanning you daily, the BBC are among them

  • @zbobet2012 ...

What the hell are you talking about? Do you even know that that was a parody on the meme "X Y is a(n) X?" You know what, I don't care. Also, that sentence was complete. Subject? "Troll." Noun? "Troll" Verb? "Unsuccessful. Proper capitalization? Check. Mark at end of sentence? Check. Having someone unsuccessfully troll my comment with a stupid reply? CHECK.

Let's not let this conversation drag on. Check ED's article on Trolls Trolling Trolls. Also, I just lost the game.

  • @Mickeyshyloh Grammar is not your thing I take it? I mean in all seriousness you could try to bother with something other than an incomplete sentence that serves as as an ad hominem attack.

  • @RnBonnet Unsuccessful troll is an idiot.

  • Crappy botnet, mine is bigger lol
