Four Tiny Babies for the Little Owls

May 13, 2009: The babies have just hatched! Monsieur Little Owl is bringing Madame plenty of food. First we see a mouse (or vole) and then a second, smaller treat.

all these nests full of babies to watch, so little time :/ I was glad to see all 4 hatched!

Notice that she doesn't stand up to feed her babies, as most raptors do. She feeds them in the brooding position.
