This is a Black Horse Models DH Mosquito electric. Power is provided by twin Turingy 1000kv motors, Castle 45ESCs, 4s 5000 Thunder Power, 3 blade MAS 11x7 counter-rotating props. The maiden flight was nearly fatal as the CG was set without the LE radiators installed. The model was tail heavy and a handful to get back safely. Only minor damage on landing. Re-set the CG using the radiators and added 1 1/4 qz of lead to the nose. Second flight required down and right trim. Too much prop for these motors. Battery was hot and down to 8% after less than 5 minutes of flight. Switching to APC 2 blade 10x7s.
i'm having the same tail heavy problem on mine aswell iv crash landed it twice because of this i reckon the recommended c of g is wrong

when you bought the plane, did it come ready to fly, or did you have to build it yourself

Hi, I had exactly the same tail heavy problem with my BH Mosquito. I know its not precise but do you have any idea how much weight you ended up putting on the nose?
