State Rep. Scott Tipton fights House Bill 1195

Colorado State Representative Scott Tipton (R-Cortez) fights the unfair tax increases that would be imposed by House Bill 1195, one of the "Dirty Dozen" before the Colorado Legislature this year. The bill removes the state sales tax exemption for products used in Agriculture, such as pesticides and bull semen.

The bill will hurt those that rely on agriculture to make a living, forcing farmers and ranchers to go across the border to buy their products in cheaper states and causing small businesses to leave Colorado.
