What great vid ! Havnt been to the Bluebell in 20 years time..........
Had a reunion with 2 of my best friends from way back last month here in Holland after 26 years that was great, as if we never been apart so many years.
Glad we have internet so I still know whats going on there !!!

Quite amusing, I liked the effect of the smoke appearing from nowhere as the train 'approached'! Plenty of SPADS apparently!

I suggest you purchase the relevant Ordnance Survey Landranger Maps which cover these railways. They show much detail, including car parks, layby's, footpaths, foot crossings, etc. I used the Brighton & Lewes map (198) to get close to various lineside areas of the Lavender Line using public footpaths. One of these paths take you over the only over bridge and foot crossing. The result was great. Click on my channel to see my video footage of their Thumper from the lineside. Hope this is of use.
Not a bad video, but you can tell it has been filmed looking back and then reversed to give the impression of a driver's eye view. One thing I was surprised at was the absence of smoke in Sharpethorne tunnel.

@Nigel16032009 - Hi, glad you liked the vid :) The reason for little smoke in the tunnel is that it has a grade of 1 in 75 and the train was running downhill. It is very different when climbing. :)

Yup, it works quite well. Except for all those signals that are "run" ;)
