Among other things that Bob Crow talked about in this clip, he said it was right to get rid of the poll tax. The problem is, the poll tax was the fairest tax, as EVERYBODY had to pay something for the local services they used - and the Labour voters did not like the idea of them having to pay SOMETHING for what they consume, and the Labour layabouts rioted to get rid of the tax.

Recorded from Sky News, 13 September 2010.

  • Poll tax was fair? Interesting view. Wrong from where I and (at the time) 80% of the population of Britain stood. Interesting though.

  • @alanpgoodwin It was badly implemented.

  • You fucking lying CUNT.Stopwriting lies under every video.the POLL TAX, in Haringay you would have to pay £573 where as if you lived in a Tory area like Wandsworth it was £99.I know this cos my cousins had to pay it and they only just left school. Thats why people rioted cos you Tories were yet again punishing the working class.Rioting layabouts ? listen to yerself what a load of shit. You need to live in the real world.Do a days work and come home with sweat on yer back and dirt on yer hands.

  • i feel sorry for most of the passengers on the tube, most of them are working for peanuts, while the driver of a tube train is on 50 grand a year, may be it's time to dismantle the tube system, as it's just not worth it, totaly uneconomical, most of the passengers would be better off on the dole,

  • Income Inequality is the cause of many social problems in the UK. FACT.

If the income gap was narrower, we wouldn't be witnessing the breakdown of society.

    Socialism ftw. :)

  • @THESTAFFIECHANNEL Sod that. I work and I'm not dirty and sweaty after it...

  • Big companies don't bother setting up here at all without a decent tax avoidance strategy. Once they are in a good position they can potentially provide employment opportunities and an economic boost. But Bob Crow wouldn't understand that as he thinks everything should be nationalised.

  • @irdial sure, you libertarian PRICK.

  • liarpoliticians is a fucking conservative regressive taxation supporting prick.

  • poll tax was fair as liarpoliticians says it was badly implemented
