1992 PBA Tru-Value Open Title Match

Amleto Monacelli defeated Pete McCordic in the semifinal match and advanced to the title match against Bruce Hamilton. At the time of this match, Amleto had already won many of the 20 titles he would win during his hall of fame career and was two time player of the year. Bruce was making his first appearance on national TV. Hamilton led the 42 game event through qualifying by over 400 pins but was a heavy underdog.
