  • umm lewin, the reason why there is sooooooo much reverb in your room is because you have barely ANY foam in there and you have none on the ceiling, which is extremely important. You can hear the reverb EASILY when you clap even though you are using a good mic. and also, YOU WANT THE ROOM TO BE AS "DEAD" AS POSSIBLE WHEN YOU RECORD DRUMS!! I am really sorry if I piss you off mate. but your videos are great and I love the two mic drum technique!

  • @DjCalliber IT doesn't piss me off, but I will say it depends on what you want out of your drums sounds. I personally do not like the sound of a completely dead drum tone. In most high end studios you will hear a lot of room reverb in their tracking room and find very little padding.

  • can some one tell me how to synchronize audio when making a music video !!

  • @ubk95 Watch my video called "How to make a videosong - Equipment Suggestions for videosong creators" then go to the 8:12 mark and I'll tell you!

  • Awesome thanks man, Yeah the Trion 8000 looks good i"ll try it out! Do u have any vid"s on garageband? I use studio one Pro Version 2 right now, but im getting an imac next year and i know garageband is also pretty user friendly! Thanks

  • would u think its a good idea to have my mic placed in my closet..on a tripod, with foam all around, only becuase if i had it in the centre of my room, the usb mic would pick up outside noise easy..

  • Hey Lewin :) great videos man, i love it, ur really a good helper with these musical topics and what not.. uhm i'd like your advise on something.. i make rap music, my room has no foams wot so ever, i have a window which brings in noise from outside even when its closed.. i have a closet (wood) which is like 12 footsteps away from my window,,and was thinking of emptying it all out, and puttitng acoustic foam inside, and have my mic on a stand, and record it in that closet.. .coz of outside noise

  • @TheMusicDude1997 i guess

  • @thenewrevolution100 yes. google it dude.

  • Is that shure mic good for rap vocals?

  • What for microphone are you use?

  • nice videos dude, always getting better. i need some opinions, what do you consider the 'best' noise gate pedal? i know they all 'steal' a little your sustain, but is there one of them you consider the 'best'?

  • Can you send me copy protuuls reezons yeah? I make a good beet! I do like kanye and dem do.

  • i want a new microphone that sounds crystal clear, any suggestions?

  • @DjCalliber I THINK GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF MICROPHONES MAY ENLIGHTEN YOUR VIEW A BIT MY FRIEND! ITHINK WITH THE RIGHT MIC YOU GOOD PICK UP JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF THAT CEILING FOR RECORDING DRUMS! THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS ON THIS TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
