Super Robot Taisen W - Final Fight Part 2

The final battle with Critic continues and after defeating him, Sousuke immediately leaves to rescue Kaname. Critic, being the sore loser that he is, decides to self-destruct the Sapientia in order to destroy everything.

Kazuma and gang aren't having any of that and immediately take the Sapientia far away. The Valcazard eventually destroys Sapientia and Critic and removes the already detonating core. An awesome moment than occurs where everyone appears to give the Valcazard some much needed power to stop the core and with that, the first SRW for the DS reaches it's conclusion.

I'm confused. When I beat this game, I wound up with Inference piloting the Sapientia. If I recall, Critic was still in the Scientia and Inference destroyed it along with Critic. What gives?

@alHalwima You get this version of this final battle automatically in your second playthrough. Subsequent playthroughs will give you the choice of which version you want to play.
