We went on the Dragon's Tooth hike on the Appalachian Trail today. Our daughter Iris, six years of age, completed every step of the 4.6 mile hike, which included approximately 1,250 feet of elevation changes, much of it over difficult rocky paths, from the trail head to the fantastic rocky outcroppings.
Toddler daughter Mila, on the other hand, had to complete the hike by riding on Daddy, who was pulling Sherpa duty.
Kathryn's ascent was a breeze - she's been joining the running club's weekly runs up Mill Mountain, which is about an 800 foot elevation change. She barely broke a sweat on this hike!
@VickyTGAW Thanks. :) We can't wait to do another hike. We're taking a trip to the Virgin Islands (St. John) this summer. That place is jam packed with awesome hikes!
