At the St. Louis Press Club awards dinner for Joe Buck Wednesday, Nov. 28, an oprganized for the club attacked the local media. Local television crews were at the event to talk with Tony LaRussa. Earlier in the day, LaRussa plead guity to drunk driving. In Marsh police in Florida arrested LaRussa for drunk driving. The found him asleep at the wheel of his SUV, foot on the break - unable to speak without slurring or walk without stumbling. Local media wanted to talk with LaRussa about his guilty plea. Joan Quicksilver from the Press Club would have none of it. She attacked the local reporters trying to do their job. How ironic, the press club, obstructs the press. Maybe next year they can give that award.

The media wonders why thy are untrusted and unwonted. He took responsibility for what he did by pleading guilty. End of story. It's just my opinion, "I think the reporter was trying to create more news out of nothing by going to the event"

Get over yourselves. They don't want to take away from the evening. Quit being so selfish.
