LYRICS: Well, now one night under a cloud in the sky
I met a pretty girl and she caught my eye
A long ponytail made of auburn hair
Really let you know, when that girl is near
She's the girl with the long long ponytail
Well, I walked up to her and I said, hey baby
Why didn't you let me know
I've never seen you around here before
Yeah, and I missed you so
Yeah man, I really like that long long ponytail
And I said, go ponytail
Ah-ah, go ponytail
Ooh, go ponytail
Yeah, go ponytail
Yeah, I really like that long long ponytail
Now, I took her out to a dance that night
She got out on the floor and she did it up right
Her long ponytail just a-boppin' to the beat
Don't you know, all the boys want to meet
That girl with the long long ponytail
Well, I walked her home and up to her front door
She gave me a little kiss and I begged for more
She looked at me with a twinkle in her eyes
Said, now baby don't you realize
That you're in love with a long long ponytail
And I said, go ponytail
Ah-ah, go ponytail
Ooh, go ponytail
Yeah, now go ponytail
Yeah, I'm in love with a long long ponytail

So "Say I Am (What I Am)" is not the only song Tommy Jackson, aka Tommy James, got from the Fireballs! Speaking of which, do you have their version of "Say I Am (What I Am)", which I know is called either just "Say I Am" or just "What I Am", but I don't remember which one. (Apologies if I've asked you about this one before.)
