It is sad and unfortunate. I hope when clarity finds her she will be able to cope with what she has done. Some people are just bad and like to hurt others. This person does not seem like a bad person to me. I think she is a victim of a disability. It does not excuse her behavior. I hope mercy is given to her.

I say YES! we should all help those who are disadvantaged by mental illness, unless you believe your money is more important than helping the entire society. Do not misunderstand me, what she did is horrendous! My ideology would help prevent that from occurring.
The quality of a society can be determined by how they treat the "lesser" individuals within it.
A society that values self-reliance alone is one of diminishing returns.

Some of these comments show a lot of stupidity. People with mental illnesses need consistent care or else shit like this happens.
There is a reason why Health Care should be available to everyone. This is just an extreme example of what could go wrong when people, especially those with a mental disability, are not treated correctly.
