  • Lovely playing, and a beautiful instrument.

Can you please tell me, is the 5th course a low C? From watching(from my desk @ work), I'm guessing that the rest of the 'Zook is in GDAD.... ?

Anyway, thanks for posting the clip....

  • Thanks pulgargrind. The tuning is low to high: Dgdad. You were nearly there;)

  • Man I'm just waiting on a new bouzouki being built for me at the moment, THAT sounds incredible.........I was hesitant about the low D, too much rattle? GREAT playing.

  • surprisingly, I've never had any problems with rattles or buzzes, although the action is reasonably low.

  • how is that a bouzouki? bouzouki's have 4 or 3 sets of strings, that is just a double stringed guitar.

  • yep, you're probably right, whatever...

  • What woods is your instrument made of? I am interesting in ordering a similar one from Fylde.

You have a lovely fluent playing style. It is very nice to listen to.

  • @guitarreru123 try .056.. more tension less rattle! cheers

  • excellent

  • Ya le pegas ya!

  • @ganjaking187 I have one I bought from Lark In The Morning, around $400.00, it doesn't have the bright sound nor the drive of the Fylde, but I corrected that by installing Fishman electronics for another $250.00.

  • i have to have one of these, does anybody know where i can get the cheapest one. peace

  • @retromolarpad Actually, as it only has 5 course (for 10 strings) it's a guitar shaped modern cittern - but people will call anything anything these days :)

  • Please can you send me a mp3 of that in a better quality or make an other video in a better quality

  • @retromolarpad ..it is a bouzouki or Cittern...which has 5 courses .Strung as a bouzouki with a jumbo guitar type body.lI have both, mine has the name Gazuki!

  • @magnetite66 it's an tune from west Asturies (in the north of spain). It's a bagpipe tune called Muiñeira de Rengos
