The goal of this experiment was to determine if substrate affects the rate of glycolysis.Taking four different substrates, Glucose, Galactose, Starch, and Water, we measured the CO2 output as a waste product of fermentation after glycolysis. This will video will show you the first hand footage of the lab and the procedure we used step by step. The video also contains informational slides covering everything from hypothesis to conclusion and even real life applications of the knowledge gained from an understanding of glycolysis and fermentation. We combined audio clips stating our findings to back up the visuals and the graphs of our results. We have determined that substrates do affect the rate of glycolysis, but don't take this word, please enjoy the video and find out how!
Guys, you did a very beautiful job with this video :)
Clear, creative, scientific, excellent.
Just need to clarify a couple of things:
1. Galactose needs to be transformed into glucose before entering glycolysis.
2. Need to clarify that the experiment was done in 40 minutes. If you did this over many hours probably starch would've gave you more CO2 production
Can you fix these and re-upload?
