That is my problem with CS. They have good designs. But the quality control is just rubbish. I guess it's all in keeping the price down. I was thinking of getting one of these, simply because they are so cheap. But then they require a lot of work. I have a heavy knife with a wooden handle, and instead of taking a file to the handle I just slid a piece of inner tube over the handle. that took care of some of the torquing in my hand.

@SpartanJohns - I sent this one out to be sharpened by Justin Gingrich of Ranger Knives - made a world of difference. This kukri is now one of my best choppers. I also added 3 full layers of ranger bands over the entire handle - again night and day difference. In retrospect there wasn't too much I had to do with this other than those two things. I really love this kukri machete now and would highly recommend it if you make those two modifications. Thanks for watching.
