this guy butchers so many names...

like Panoz, McLaren, Zakspeed, Porsche, pretty funny. and he said FIA like it was a word instead of F-I-A, i almost pulled my hair out when i heard that one

Yeah!! Absolutely!!! Back then with the McLaren's etc. it was still a real competition.LeMans was even more awsome with the japanese cars competing aswell. In the old days everything was better, no one talking about fuel saving and electro cars or hybrids.

I feel the same about GT racing in the late 90's.

Since 1998 I follow endurance and touring car racing. It's a shame to have missed 96 and 97 with awesome GT and DTM/ITC racing.

It's a shame that the 'old' GT1 are gone for good. They looked stellar and I imagine they sounded terrific.

Anyway: Let's hope SRO's World Championchip will boost GT racing...
