14,000 hard working Americans are losing their health care every single day because of the corporate insurance companies and the Republican economic disaster. Number one cause of personal bankruptcy in the U.S. is health care costs.

Why didn't they bring Romney into the conversation... You are right. Romney was Governor of Massachussets and signed this into law in 2006 right? HaHA. Glenn Beck doesn't know what he is talking about BUT I bet the CATO institute guy perfectly knows that the Massachussets program was enacted by Mitt Romney and looks more like the Republican Health Care plan!

REAL national health care has no Insurance companies. Here in England, care is not "rationed"! Our tax money goes straight into the system, not the pockets of Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies! If it was such a failure would my Uncle have survived cancer 6 times? Would my sister been able to have her baby at 16 and be able to care for it? No. America is the failure. "Got cancer? Oh well, maybe it'll go away it's self. Stabbed in the stomach? Well, your insurance doesn't cover it, bye!"

First of all, clinics dont treat cancer they provide basic services to people with no money. Your arguement is extremely misguided. How are clinics an example of socialized medicine? Clinics are for people with NO health coverage.

I would like you to name one country that has successfully implemented HC. One country with Nationally run HC that DOESN'T ration it. There aren't any. Thats why people come here from all over the world for top of the line HC. Why do we need to overhaul our HC when it the insurance comp's that are driving up cost.

The different taxs you mentions are all local taxs, not federal. This is how the our Constitution was set up [ON PURPOSE] So by your logic you also pay for my car insurance. Where does it stop. BTW according to the CBO the cost of HC will be not only go up but leav out almost 30 mil people. Also when you are in favor of the Gov dictating large aspects of your life, by definition you are a Socialist. Look up the def. Not sure where the confusion is???

Not sure how this is seen as "disingenuous". If the facts and numbers our presented accurately its up to people to make the call. If you want another example of failed "socialized health care" look at any community clinic or hospital. They are underfunded, understaffed and dirty. This will happen in any situation where it is up to the Gov to fund and ration the kind of health care we get.
