In early July, All-American Todd Bender was teaching a Skeet Shooting Clinic at Sportsmen's Shooting Center in Canton Ohio when he described just how to shoot Station 4 (high house first). Todd's clinics have become a yearly event in Canton and interested shooters for next year's clinic should consider getting on the list, soon.

You can get even more information on his other clinics and lots of great advice for skeet shooters at his home page at www.bendershima.com

  • its really bugging me how he has his mussle on the ground.

  • It's not really on the ground. He's wearing a toe flap on his shoe that the barrell rests on and is one of the proper ways to hold a gun while waiting in skeet.

  • shot with ths guy today, hes the most amazing shot :)

  • I don't like that guy. Intimidating...

  • @ss19800 What are you talking about? They have eye and ear protection, what else do you think they should have?

  • What a jerk! Safety first, pal! Who let him in the field without proper protection?

  • @yaphead20

    spelled muzzle*

  • @huntingboy2 ......7/8 is close to a 24g in 12 gauge.7/8 is not only for 20gauge.You can get it for 12 g too.

Now,if you are in International skeet shooter you CANT have 7/8,you need 24g that is very close to 7/8 but 7/8 is a little more than 24g.

When i practice international i reload @ 7/8 but in competition i buy 24g,usualy you can buy it at the competition range.

  • @fldavenport

You do in international skeet. You also aren't allowed to call for the target with the gun mounted. Additionally, 7/8 oz. is the most shot you can have in a shell.

  • i shot w him

  • You're correct. Singles on 3, 4, and 5.

  • im new to skeet and i thought that you didnt shoot doubles on station 3, 4, and 5,
