Of course America needs a nuclear arsenal because other countries have them. That doesn't make nuclear weapons acceptable, it just makes them a necessary evil. Nations agree on hardly anything, but I figure that if there is one thing worth agreeing on, its that nuclear weapons are unacceptable and should all be destroyed. It's as TAA said: "Human beings, we are a species smart enough to build atomic bombs and stupid enough to actually use them."

Ah, sorry, I made you misunderstand accidentally. I said that as a characteristic of Mccain, that he has changed from who he was before trying to play in the big league (running as President in 2000).
The clips are about half a year apart, the O'reilly clip from early May and the ad about a month old now.

Pheenix, we need a nuclear arsenal because other countries have them too. Obviously it would be simple if every nation agreed on everything, but they don't. We can't get rid of SOME nuclear weapons, we'd have to get rid of them all. The only thing stopping any country from nuking us (if they were so inclined) is knowing that we'd see it coming and blow them all to hell too.
