If you don't love the snail game, then you stink.

Activating the snail game:
-Boot up the Sega Master System without a cartridge in any slot.
-After the warning screen shows up, press and hold Up+1+2 on the Master System controller.
-Enjoy the snail game and its incredibly catchy tune.

Recorded through Fusion Sega emulator, as my actual SMS is out of commission. :(

  • where can you find a rom of this game... I've looked everywhere and could not find it neither to download or to buy it.... and my sms is dead right now

  • @shiloushilou Look for the Sega Master System 1.3 BIOS rom. :)

  • Fun game. How many levels? I got to Level 3.

The timer gets lesser I think each level that one complete's.

  • I think there were twelve levels total, if memory serves me correct.

  • this game was hard

  • Yeah, it's been more than 20 years since I first played it and I STILL can't get past the fourth maze.

  • my brother and i used to play this, i would control the snail while he worked backwards with his finger on the screen until we met, then he'd try and remember where he came from... im pretty sure we got through all 12 in the end!

  • This was one of those 80's rumors that you would hope was true and when you actually find out you lose your mind!

  • i was 6 when i played this game. haha! came with the system

  • @cvmh777

    thanks

  • damn the music is so cool!!! but it gets stuck in your head lol

  • @cvmh777 Yes, 12. You had to remember where you were going to finish them all in the alloted time.

  • I LOVE the music! :D

  • I wish consoles still came with little games inside them. I loved how the MS had sort of credit card games as well. Hidden games I found out about were Alex Kidd, Hang On and My Hero. I had the latter on the card, it was my fave. Plus the snail game music reminds me of Snooker Loopy by Chaz and Dave

  • @scatman64 Master System II without game=Alex Kidd

  • The weird thing is, why did they hide it away as an easter egg? It might only be a basic little game, but it would have made a decent enough selling point to openly advertise the fact that there was a game built in to get you started.
