'To Begin' - v2

This is a version of 'To Begin' that I'm a little happier with.

Oh, I know it's still got plenty of warts. But so do witches, and they're cool, right?

When I recorded the other version I was having a really bad day. Which in some ways was good, because it got me into a mood to do something creative as an outlet. The result was my last two videos. I like the way they look, but the sound and the performance are pretty craptastic. I hope this one is an improvement; I think it is.

Ahhh... shite. I've just realised I stuffed the phrasing for the falsetto part in this video as well, although it's better. Now I've figured out the problem, I think. I guess I'll have to do a new version sometime. But I really couldn't be bothered right now...

Um.. no, I'm pretty amateur really. Completely, you might say. I've never done any professional gigs or recorded any albums. Just played in my bedroom, mostly! The good thing about youtube is that you don't have to post the bad takes, you see... :D

My focus has always been songwriting, I've never really been a performer. I get terrible stage fright, you see. This is why my videos are like black shrouds.
