@MrQatarwolf What is noteworthy also is that women that have been raped would also be stoned if they confessed to being a victim - because they had sex outside of marriage.

Although I would say that all religions have barbaric elements, I say Islam very much tops my list.

Of course, according to the Qu'ran 24:2, every adulterer should be "flogged each with a hundred stripes"

The hadiths proscribe an even harsher treatment (as recalled by Umar, companion of Muhammed):

"Stoning is a duty laid down in Allah's Book for married men and women who commit adultery when proof is established, or it there is pregnancy, or a confession." (Muslim 17:4194)

@MrQatarwolf Yes, an escalation of terror is usually what happens to women that disobey what their husbands/brothers/father tells them to do.

@Wejer3 the meaning is that men have to guide there wifes as allah said to them and give them money and if they didn't go on the words of allah tell them with (nice words) if it didn't work then don't sleep with them and if it didn't work hit them but (with out any damage in there face and body) islam will give a chance before every thing if it didn't work then we use another and most of the time we don't hit hard as u describe it and if think about it its better then divorce

@MrQatarwolf Since you no longer seem to have retained the ability to recite the Qu'ran from heart (as so many muslim boys can do), feel free to google "what would Mohammed do" to get a list of the do's & don't's in Islam with the appropriate Qu'ran and Hadith sources.

As for creationism (a superstition shared by both christians, muslims and others), I asume you can find all the proper coutner-arguments by yourself - it is not hard.
