Wow, it looks amazing! I would love to jump on board for the Jeep Jamboree in Ouray this coming September. Unfortunately the ol' TJ needs a lot of drive-line repairs before I'd trust it to get me through the trails and back! Great video, thanks for posting!

ocr14a, I have to disagree, I believe that is Sneffels. I just got back from my honeymoon, and part of our journey was 2 days in Ouray. I rented a Hummer H3 Alpha, and that was one of the trails I did. Today is Saturday, that was on Thursday when I drove this trail.

Great video!! Thanks a bunch for sharing.
However, I'm gonna have to go out on a limb and say that's not Mt. Sneffels at 12:17.
I've been going there for years (every July starting in 2003) to climb it, but that's just a smaller peak on our way to the TH.
If this is all as it seems (all in one, uncut video, driving up Camp Bird Road toward Twin Falls, Yankee Boy Basin, Sneffels trailhead, etc), that's not Sneffels.
Thanks again for sharing though.
What a beautiful place!!

We made this drive in a rented jeep years ago. Your video brings back lots of memories. No mountains here in Florida.

Colorado is Amazing.
Fortunately, I live here.

we did this drive in a rented jeep during the summer of 2006: sensory overload being from illinois...nice to see the winter scenery...many fond memories...would love to live in ouray and own a dirt bike...thanks!
We made the full ascent to Yankee Boy and Governor Basin thia year including the Virginius Mine upper level. The mine roads require some pucker power especially making the climb up. You have no idea where your passenger rear tire is in relationship to the edge. Including all of the large rock that has scattered the trail about mid-way, it becomes mind over matterwhen driving this. Once on it, you are committed to go to the top to turn around. Went into the mine about 30' and looked around. Cool!

Very cool, I started up Governor's Basin but it was late afternoon so we turned back. Would love to explore the mine, that's one I haven't seen yet.
