  • My take on the Akai MPC Renaissance is that it is a toy for gear heads to drool over. As you stated if you already have a current setup that works for you and is doing its job why change it? Just so it can look cool? We shall see I guess

  • @TheBeatLounge

  • @sante1996 Question? With the MPD 32 can I just use FL studio edition to make beats from my own sounds? I like to sample from old records and sounds.

  • Knowledge. What turntable do you use?

  • I'm a Reason user with my ASR 10, my Akai MPK49 & my Mac. I love the look of the New Mpc's The studio and Renaissance,,,,, but do i really need them? I appreciate your point of view. Gives me something to think about. I heard the prices are 599 and 1299. Thanks for your point of view.

  • It actually simplifies my studio. It's like the Mpd32 and my interface all in one AND if I'm in the mood I can make something right on the thing itself without even looking at the computer. As an old hardware user turned software there is a certain zone I miss about hardware. This is a perfect solution. Hopefully the workflow is smooth. Price of course is e deciding factor. If worse comes to worse its STiLL a dope midi controller next step up from and mpd32

  • Learned on Mpc. Switched to FL with mpd32. I'm excited for the mpcr because it will integrate perfectly into FL. When I'm not in a "computer" mood I band something out real quick on it but since it's all. In the computer I can load itup right in FL and further add to it without having to export all my Mpc tracks as wavs or midi. You can run the mpcr as a vst in whatever program you are using.

  • hey what's up Na-ledge, agree with u all the way on making use of what u already have. By the way, checked out some of ur other videos man. Keep doing ya thang!! Word Up!
