  • I do turn the volume up so I can go get a beer.

  • @Snipe4261 I'm happy to be able to facilitate you.

  • Great video!

Your voice sounds a lot different than when you talked into a camera, the quality is much better now. Unfortunately many people can get easily distracted and off topic with visuals...

  • @LabiaNymph The audio quality on the camera is not good and the microphone is 50 cm away pointing in the wrong direction rather than 5 cm away pointing in the right direction with an improvised anti-pop filter. Also the audio can be enhanced a little, it's very easy to make audio sound a lot better with a few clicks.

There are many people out there putting huge efforts into making images which actually end up detracting from their message, I try to avoid that temptation.

  • Calling people LIBERAL as an insults is so foolish since most of the liberal credo let all that stuff happening... what a bunch of phh ... oh... never mind!! Now I'm sending you a couple more new people, and someone that is able to give you hints how to get good lightening if you want to show your face in a video, you know it's all in the light to makes you look good or darn frightening... :-)

  • @beebea9 The lighting is very good actually, I used 550 watts of lighting, but I forgot the colour balance was set for a much cooler light. There is no point in persevering with video because my camera's sound quality is poor. Since switching to the audio-only style the comments are much more favourable. Audio only also allows me to keep to the script without ums and errs and I am happier with the results.

    (just trying to help...)

  • @MartinJWillett Great keep the rant going!! :-)

  • @beebea9 I shall bear that in mind for the future, but that will probably have to wait until I get a new camera because the sound quality on this camera is not good enough and there is no way to use an external microphone.

The camera was too low, I used my pocket sized tripod instead of my bigger one, with a higher camera angle I do look much better, it allows the camera to see a shadow under my chin, but the whole point of that clip was to show why I now prefer to use the audio-only style!

  • @MartinJWillett Apparently from a professional artist and theatre scene stage guru (I talked to about you) - a good shot is to get the camera at eye level (NOT from under the chin level) and second light position has to get on on the side (back ear level) and much stronger than the upper light it keeps your face into a mysteriously mood and more interesting - fitting your style

  • You may be late for dinner, but we'll have a deep chat about society over a good and old Scotch!!
