Is that little tube sucking up the clipped hair??
@giniapjac a #10 is good for beginners while a #30 should be used by more experienced people. A #10 is usually used for the feet, face and potty path on a poodle. A #30 is considered a "surgical blade" and it is very easy to razor burn an animal with one. Few groomers I know will ever lay hands on this blade.

When do u use a #10 blade or #30 blade etc. ? I have a teacup & toy poodle I need to start grooming myself. I don't know the difference between these blades. Can u help? Thx!

or blades arent sharp enough? are your blades always sharpened? i know i need my #4F sharpened, i had problems going against the grain with that one recently. check ur blades
