Are you crazy he tried to take him out illegaly and hit him in the head with an elbow which caused him to miss 2+ months. I mean Ruutu on Ottowa got 2 games for biting someone. He should have gotten 5-7 games min. The penalty was a joke but its not much of a suprise while Colin "FU** The Islanders" Cambell is in town in NHL office.

it wasnt that bad of an elbow, his injury was from falling and hurting his leg or ankle, not any kind of concussion or neck injury. only crying islander fans and devils haters believe it was worth more than 2

devils don't play dirty and mottau did it by accident unlike the rangers the devils play clean

Even tough i'm a Devils fan, Mottau's suspension was fair. He is not a dirty player and this was accidential, he probably didn't mean to do it.
Avery's suspension is a different story though.

Maybe because it was a very dirty hit that he even stated would not have happen if he didn't make an attempt to move out of the way. Doesn't matter if the people from jersey have heard of him. One more thing, if your not just you but any one is a devil fan and in some way you defend Mottaus case on the hit and think the suspension is fair just because it is one of your players well there is something wrong with you.

It may be that he is not a dirty player, I don't know because I'm a sharks fan, but that was a dirty hit. I looked like Mottau went to hit him legally, but then saw that he could not, and went for any sort of hit, which in this case, was an elbow to the head. This was not an incidental hit. I do think that the part with the leg just happened, but the elbow to the head looked intentional to me.

Cam Janssen's hit was two years ago to clarify and Mike Mottau is the LEAST dirty player ever...it happens. It happens on every team and to call him an animal and blame New Jersey is very uneducated and disrespectful. It happened, he got punished, enough is enough.
