The new Fremont Ross High School Natatorium in Fremont, Ohio, completed in 2006, is about a sharp a 25-yard pool once will find anywhere in the USA. This short video was taken at the Sand Otter Swimming "Puppy Mania" Meet, held Jan 24-25, 2009 in Fremont. The best part about this meet was the single session format - all swimmers regardless of age swam in the same session (Saturday 1PM-6PM and Sunday 9AM-1PM), so that teams traveling from other areas could make this a "user friendly" travel meet; vs meets that are held all day long from early morning until late at night. Here's icing on the cake: it is obvious the pool staff and volunteer parents are thrilled to have visitors come to their pool, everyone has a positive attitude and they go out of their way to be fantastics hosts to all of the visiting teams. Maybe some day we will see a state championship title come back to Fremont like we saw in the 1930s and 1940s.

@toekneebeeears He personally goes and supervises his factories. He refs almost every single swim meet at the pool and meets can last all day. Not only does he give to swimming he gives to almost every other community thing in Fremont. When he isn't working he spends time with his family who also do a lot for the community.

@toekneebeeears The pool is one of the best in ohios. The only pools that compete with it are college pools. And Mr Hawk didn't strike it lucky he wasn't at the right place at the right time. He worked for what he has. Trust me even though graham is a dumbass, which he knows he is, he is right Mr. Hawk does give a lot of his time and money away, but he earned the right to. He goes to work everyday in early in the morning and comes home at night just like any other hard worker.

These meets happen often trust me and they are very large attracting 700 swimmers sometimes even way more. The club team has to pay for the usage of this pool in those large meets. The swimmers also personally raise money to help pay off the pool. It isn't just fremont ross grades 9-12 that use the pool the St. Joe also uses the pool to practice and for meets. the club team also has kids as young as 4 on it so it isnt a small select group of people who use the pool.

@toekneebeeears Not only are there those sports facilities there are multiple classrooms. All of which are being used. The middle school pool was in one of the oldest in ohio in fact it is the oldest indoor school pool. They tried fixes to it but they were never enough to keep it in good condition. Plus the whole middle school buidling was deemed as a money hole if they tried to fix it. The old pool was also only 4 lanes and not competition worthy. The new pool is and attracts large meets.

@toekneebeeears Graham is not one of his kids but he is one of his spoiled kids. Every kid that now attends fremont ross is one of his "spoiled kids." It wasn't a new pool it was a new addition to the whole highschool facility. It included a medical office, a wrestling room, and a big pool. The wrestling room is not just used for wrestling if needed the space is used for classes if they need more room for an activity, meetings by the facility, and for large tests

I'm surprised he didn't make a bigger deal of the National Champ banner. and @toekneebeeears You are the one who thinks the money should go to the causes you want to support so that kinda makes you the self-entitlement centered brat. Nobody deserves this guy's money he was just nice enough to support the swim team because it obviously means something to him.

If you have a job then you know that no natter how hard you work at both your jobs you will never make as much money as Hal. It takes more than hard work to get his money. It take a lot of luck. Most likely he was in the right place at the right time.
I would like to see that money go to people who do work hard. Not to some brats still in high school. I'd like to see it go to someone who earned it.

@graham1995
How do you know so much about Hal ? Are you one of his spoiled kids ?
The "REVENUE" can not be very much money. And unfortunately the money will go to people who don't deserve or need it. Most likely , brats like you ?
Was I right about you never having a job ? You have know Idea what its like to work hard for your money. And then see men like Hal throw his money away on something useless like a pool.
