This is a longer version of the aaLuminateTrailer1 video already available on YouTube. It includes more detail on how to use the app and what each of the controls does. This help video is included within the app and is played when the help button (marked "?" is pressed.

aaLuminate is the new reading aid app from aardwearing software limited. It runs on any camera equipped iOS device running iOS 4 or above. So for example it will run on iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G and iPad 2.

Studies have shown that about 1 in 20 people can increase their reading speed by more than 25% by overlaying white pages with a physical coloured overlay. Often these people have been diagnosed as suffering from Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome (aka Meares-Irlen syndrome), some dyslexics may also find it helpful. aaLuminate gives you a portable way to do this using your smartphone to create a virtual and adjustable overlay that you can always have with you.

aaLuminate is now available in the iTunes App Store worldwide for $0.99 or local equivalent.
