Bravo, guys! It always strikes me as sadly ironic when I hear groups of Christians, in public, at church, mindlessly and repetitively reciting the Lord's prayer verbatim. The irony comes in the two verses which precede the prayer, Mat 6:7-8, “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. “So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him." Thanks for the example :)

I love when they actually show us the right way to do stuff, i mean the don't do's are funny and all, but the thing is, i want to know how to do things real and nice like

Why are we knocking Catholics. What is wrong with reciting scripture? you can do it over and over again without it being mindless. I gives us a good place to frame our prayers and to teach others how to pray. I still say the Lord's prayer regularly and think about everything I am saying as I do, really meaning it.
