Got a chance to hike the bowl with Annie and Tom - it was a great day.

@WiredInProductions same here it is indeed a great spot to go for an adventurous skiing it would be much nicer if you have friends to ski with you.

i've never been out west to ski. Is this challenging or just difficult to get to. I assume it's difficult. Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question

Haha I did this last year when I was 13, my mom didn't want me to but I went up with some guys I met. It was something I will never forget and I hope to do it again some time.

couldnt that bowl start an avalanche? I dont know anything about huge mountains like in colorado-utah etc.

wonderful. grabbed a few minutes today nov 17, 2009 - the hills are nearly ready to open! some skiiers are walking up!

Yes, most definitely sped up. Maybe 150%. I think we were in a slow skiing zone. :)

Thanks for the comments - it was just one of those days - the weather was fantastic & the spring snow was like carving Styrofoam! We couldn't have asked for better conditions. And you can't beat the Bowl.
