I am wondering the difference between street cannabis and medically grown cannabis. Obviously with street cannabis there is a risk of contamination from dealers but botany does not change. A plant is a plant, the only difference that I can think of is the chemicals in hydroponic cannabis compared to that used in natural soil.

Marijuana causes thinking to slow down... hmmm... that would be a good thing for 99% of people.

He's right when talking about marijuana use not being therapeutic for the conditions he cited. But not even psychiatrists understand what "therapeutic" means. They rely on drugs that are definitely not therapeutic. Using marijuana is no worse than using pharmaceutical drugs. At least people enjoy marijuana.

This is complete and utter horseshit.

such a very small group is not representative. He's also biased about being right (I felt it was bad and now i got proof). Its just another government paid "doctor" who lies to us.

I call bullshit, show me the patients it harms and I'll show you the patients it helps. Let's compare.

I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting ms one month ago. Smoking cannabis has without any doubt impaired my cognitive abilities that were already slowed by the disease.
But most drugs have some unwanted side effects and if ms sufferers find hash/weed helpful with pain relief and are willing balance it with further loss of short term memory and slower reaction times then fair enough.
As for the previous comment, errrr.......
I don't know about the classification of street and medicinal but I can say that smoking puts me in a fog and my cognitive skills are slowed and I hate the feeling but when I cook and ingest the cannabis I have none of the side effects that I get from smoking and I'm pain free for hours. O I didn't mention that I have MS, (not just using the stuff to get high, it medicine!)
