TEDxYouth@DiscoveryCollege - David Begbie - Helping needs meet resources

David Begbie is the Director of Crossroads Foundation's experiential simulation program, which has seen over 65,000 participants since they started in 2006. The simulation programs have been taken to many regions of the world, including Europe, where Crossroads annually presents a refugee simulation for the attendees of the World Economic Forum, in Davos, Switzerland. The foundation is also involved in humanitarian aid and development organisation, and is in the process of finalizing its 14-acre experiential Global Village in Hong Kong, showcasing global needs and solutions.
In this presentation David puts forward a simple yet stirring message of following passions to assist other, no matter how capable you think you are of assisting.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
