  • One of the first things he mentions is to move away from the tree. He stayed right next to it.

  • So I guess You were the one who marked this "Don't Like"? Tree Hugger? If You'd climbed into that Tree I would still cut it down! But I'd wait until You had fallen asleep. Relax it's only a bad dream. Welcome to My Nightmare.(Alice Cooper. I saw Him in Germany in 1974, or 75, they shoved Him into a Coffin.) No doubt You'd survive the fall with only a broken bone or two & maybe a little Drain Bamage! Squirrels fall all the time & just up & run away! The point is Trees Grow Back! It's a Cycle!

  • Well @fatcuntist that Tree was just asking for it! Growing out there by itself & looking like Firewood. With Winter coming on it was only a matter of time until someone did the deed & cut it into the perfect lengths for the Fireplace. Besides they'll probably plant at least Six Trees (say that fast six times) for every Tree they cut down. What do You burn in a Fireplace? Kids, Old People, an occassional Salesman? Chopped up with an Axe, or do You use a Chainsaw? Smells worse than wood, right?

  • good work brother.

  • I noticed in this video that you didn't move away as the tree started to fall, instead you removed your stuck saw first, then retreated, only getting one or two steps away from the base as the tree struck the ground. In that case I'd suspect you'd want to keep a very close eye on the bottom of the cut tree to make sure it doesn't move towards you as the tree is falling or bounces.

  • By the way Im socially awkward so dont anyone listen to me but i would use the echo 310 for limbing or cutting of the smaller branchs cause the big one there i got weighs 15 pounds. Im sure they just used the 680 that they used for felling to trim a few branch. But its kind of overkill to limb with the 680 is for monster 24-28 inch trees. and the 8000 is good for 48' maple with wire fence in it.

  • @echousa By the Way an acquaintance of mine has a tree business and I went to throw him some work and he said "I wouldnt feel right about it." So last winter I lost some trees and I went and bought the CS8000 Which I had to tune. But he runs husquvrna and the biggest they makes is a 60 and were talking and he goes How big is that and I got, its 80 CCs with a 24 INch bar. I say and I bought a Power Match Bar for it 50 Gauge skip tooth chain and a 32 inch bar. (( MINES BIGGER ))

  • Hi, I'm writing a book and I needed information for a tree felling scene. This video helped a lot. Thanks. :)
