If most of the processing power, ram, and hard drives isn't used i'de suggest using a pci-e internal swich, then connect more computers to it. Unless it already is in which case I'll shut up :)

@HippehMac I do expect Xeons, I use them in my home servers, it's not like Xeons cost lots more than consumer grade anyway. If you're going to call something a server, it need not look pretty, nor shall it contain consumer grade products.

@tardedZnerfZgun OK - so died off is a euphemism for declining and marginal market percentage and representation in the newest and most contemporary software stacks. It has been slowly basted since the late 90's from the UNIX crowd and it never really made it in the internet era.
