Interviews from the 2010 Bioneers Conference

Mike and JoAnna Bresnan of Costa Rica and the Vista del Valle Plantation Inn talk about their program, Children Feeding Children, and the change and transformation that is occurring around the world. They introduce interviews with Annie Leonard and David Orr while attending the 2010 Bioneers Conference held October 15-17, 2010 in San Rafael, California.

Annie Leonard, writer and host of the internet film, The Story of Stuff, talks about how and why she has travelled for more than two decades around the world working on international environmental health and sustainability issues. She warns, it's not IF we are going to change, but HOW, so let's make it intentional and with compassion, not by default. Start changing now while we have the space.

The author and professor, David Orr talks about Bioneers bringing together many of the parts of sustainability - health, design, politics. How all of these parts somehow fit together into the whole requires integration and understanding the system of sustainability where the parts support the whole. We know how to do this and move towards resiliency which is about finding the sweet spot, what needs to move rapidly e.g. climate issues and what needs to move more slowly.
