First Trip on Autobahn, Flying past police 162kmh

We were on our way to pick up the rest of the family from he airport in Stuttgart, Germany, and we were on the autobahn, when we spotted a convoy of copperz, we flying past the police at 162kmh, soooo crazy

as for Australia, it no longer has any roads which are unrestricted, as of 2008 the maximum is 150kph, but the likelihood of anyone finding you driving at such speeds in these areas is ludicrous.

oh my god... what's particularly on overtaking the police? you could also overtake them with 300 km/h. It's ALLOWED cause you're on the AUTOBAHN!!

@avadex yeah, but in the USA that's absolutely not legal, so as a german you might find that normal, as an american it's gotta be a weird feeling

Ab Sekunde 0:35 wäre Platz, aber trotzdem interessant. Meine letzten Kolonnenfahrten sind schon ne ganze Weile her (Bundeswehr). Müssen solche Kolonnen bei der Polizei/Feuerwehr/THW usw. nicht auch mit entsprechenden Fahnen gekennzeichnet werden?

@Lame323ti Abgesehen davon, dass die Regelungen der StVO für die Polizei sowieso nur eingeschränkt gelten (§35), wird ein geschlossener Verband auch wie ein einzelnes Fahrzeug behandelt (§27). Da die rechte Fahrspur keine ausreichend große Lücke für die gesamte Kolonne lässt, sondern nur für einen Teil, muss die Kolonne nicht auf die rechte Spur (§7 Abs. 3c)

The recommended speed is 130... but there are parts of the Autobahn without any speed limits... BUT there are also part with a limit... Drive 160 there and get caught and please carry enough cash because you will have to pay imediately... nowadays the police accepts credit/debit card too.

@pixartist i usually overtake them every day on the autobahn with almost 200km/H, so its very weird as a german to see this on youtube. its like seeing a man sitting on a chair and doing nothing ;)
