You know Windows will use all the available cores by default, this option is just a limitor. See the comment by paulgrem.

This only speeds the boot time but I won't suggest it for laptops because letting it boot with all processors instead of one can take a bit of battery power while booting. The computer will run on all processors normally when the computer has finished booting, so I don't really see the reason to change the setting

I don't know dude I used this on my dads laptop and it was incredibly faster on bootup time.

man i can't believe you gota tell vista to use more than default processors, everything now a days have a chip with like 2 cores. MS has got it's crammed in it's nether reagons
