Abso-freakin-lutely. Firefighters, EMS, and other emergency responders so so severely underpaid for thejob, the risk death every single day, and recieve a pittiful paycheck. How about some professional sportsman donate a part or half of their salary to their local emergency response teams? That would be someone worth cheering for.

@3424lauren I too used to live in England where I was a volunteer firefighter there until I moved to Canada. The firefighters there are underpaid. I agree with you that they should be paid more.

So you're saying if firemans earned like £100 000 a year you would turn it down because you don't care about money. I liv in England, where there is a horrible recession on, where my mother has lost her job and we can't even go to the lake district for a week to get away. So yes firefighters in ENGLAND should get more.

@3424lauren no, firefighters do get something. They are well respected by everyone. Firefighter is the worlds most trusted job. It's also one of the hardest jobs to do. We do get something, and that's appreciation by everyone.
