http://www.kayanoie.net "KAYA no IE" 萱の家 is one of the most wonderful Japanese Ryokan hotels with included hot spring (onsen), breakfast and dinner.
Situated on the Akakura river near by 川場 Kawaba Villge in 群馬 Gunma prefecture, 武尊温泉 Hotaka Hot Spring has always a perfect temperature to allow long lasting relaxation to the body. The high ceiling of the large bath hall and the many windows reflect the vivid green forest trees and allow your spirit the freedom to relax along with your body. Pine tree wood gives an exquisite color and feel to the hot spring and makes you feel one with the nature.
The rooms are designed in old Japanese traditional architecture, very large, each having a terrace to enjoy tea time while watching the forest and listening to the river flow.
The unusual high ceilings are everywhere adorned with traditional Japanese lamps in intricate designs. Massive wood blocks and white walls are the basics of this architecture as well as the roof covered in solid layers of straw.
An ancient style fire place in the lounge is surprisingly glowing at any time of the day.
Breakfast and dinner are included, a fantastic home made all vegetarian cuisine will amaze even the convinced meat lovers! Every dish is prepared with a perfection, care and delicacy that is specific only to Japan. The famous master cook always creates new dishes in order to surprise even the most gourmet guests. The richness of every meal will satisfy even the hungriest traveller.
A large concert room (with piano and stage) is part of this establishment and you could hold there your wedding or a secret concert, a big party or a conference.
The surroundings of "KAYA no IE" will entertain you to the fullest on your daytime trips. Situated near the Kawaba Village, you can enjoy fishing and playing in the Akakura river right in front of the hotel, or you can hike to the nearby flower gardens, animal parks or just stroll through the forest or along the picturesque rice paddies and wheat fields.
Reservations can be done from oversea at Tel.+81-278-522-220 or from Japan at 0278-522-220

@MrKilluminati12 all over Japan! You can visit for 2-3 hours only or stay there and have lunch/dinner, and some offer hotel rooms, as you like.

the concept is all about traditional Japanese "extremely healthy relaxation" so they make every little dish or sauce manually and all such high quality that you don't even carve for meats while eating this. the cook did the cuisine for a famous zen temple. I've been there 2 days ago, the effort and time they put in making things delicious is mind-blowing.
