How to fix your ipod when it freezes ( look in description for detailed instructions)

i don't take any responsibility for anything that happens. Try at own risk. This is how to un freeze or reset your ipod with out waiting for it
to die.

1. pry off silver back plate with a knife or screw driver.
2. then take the silver plate off and take the tape off the red and black wire coming from the battery
3. take a knife or a piece of wire and conect the red and black together and you should see a little spark. don't be worried about being shoked there is barely any power in the battery
4. put tape back on and connect to computer and the ipod will reset and operate normally.
5. snap back on back plate but make sure to put back on the tape.

MY MAN! I have an older generation iPod that had froze w/ no button response as well. Followed your video, opened her up & finito. it's up and running. I was a little iffy on trusting you tho since you were wearing an edmonton oilers shirt. LoL

i have an i pod 2ndgeneration and its frozen with an hour glass in the screen.i waited till it ran out of batteries then i charged it and its still like that does anyone know what i should do
