    Um, wow. Not only is this not true, but the Fed has been printing money out of thin air for years and the presses are just getting warmed up. You need to do some research. Dollars are a fiat currency; Not backed by anything but trust (and the trust is fading).

    According to the FBI anyone who believes that money should be backed by gold (like before) is an extremist.

    There isn't enough gold to cover the money that's in circulation.

    he had some point actually.

    you cant just "print and print money". it should be backed up by something that will give value to it. thats how our typical currency have values.

    but IMO the US dollar is backed by military and weapons rather that gold or something else.

    the US is just a poor rock when it comes to gold/diamonds. dollar is funded with weaponry.
