We drove the motor yacht Dreadnaught V from Istanbul to Valencia, June 2007. These are a collection of the only videos taken. I left the actual sound on these to get the atmosphere. The scenes include the Sea of Marmara I and II, North Aegean under cloud, Mediterranean swell giving us a regular dousing, a lone Seagull approaching Menorca, Port Mahon with the New Zealand flag of the boat fluttering in the morning breeze after a storm blew over during the night.
@34timsah Yes, but the captain was a New Zealander who wanted to see his country's team compete in the Americas Cup races off Valencia that year. So we had to move on and not delay. I can't remember if it was thirty-two hundred or forty-two hundred liters of fuel to complete that distance. We cruised at 8.5 to 9.5 knots.
