Preface



This Directory of Disability Research Periodicals is intended primarily for use as an acquisition tool to librarians and for research libraries fostering resource sharing in a library networking system.

The main idea for the compilation of this Directory arose out from the observation that there hardly exists a single publication in a convenient format, which could furnish information about the Disabilities and related issues.

The volume covers periodicals published up to 2008. Ceased periodicals are not included in this Directory. Comments or suggestions, if any, will be received with gratitude and appreciation since they will be useful to improve future editions of the volume.
