    I LOVE this song! I have my Mom's 45 on Entrance and wouldn't give it up for the world. Mom was 16 the summer this came out. I can only imagine why she held onto it the rest of her life! She's been gone eleven years now. This is one of the songs we would listen to together when she'd pull out the record stacks. Always makes smile when I hear it now! Love you mama! XO

    Heard this for the first time in decades on an oldies station while driving into work. Remembered all the words and sung it LOUD! Came home to find it on YouTube and haven't stopped playing it yet! I miss those days - a simpler life.

    Good little song to bring back a feeling of being young. I thought this was a Memphis band but, don't know that for sure. Did get to see the BoxTops at junior/senior prom in Mem. My baby wrote me a letter.

    my uncle Al Wurtzman ran a pharmacy in Elmira for many years. I'm not from that area but went to college with a guy named Jim Carrier who worked at a radio station in Elmira, I don't know which one. if you know him, let me know thanx!!
