This is the dorsal column-medial lemnsicus (DCML) tract as seen in Axiom Neuro, a new interactive functional atlas for neuroanatomy and neurology that gives users an up-close, detailed view of 13 spinal cord and brainstem nerve pathways.

Also included in the software are all 12 cranial nerves and 10 virtual patient cases that use animation to teach signs and symptoms of some common neurological pathologies such as stroke, diabetes and head trauma.

  • Nice animation, but i get the feeling the voice over guy is going to eat a human spinal cord after this animation listening to his voice.

  • @MrDrBulla: Not the whole cord, but if he's feeling peckish, he'll munch on a few thoracic levels every now and then. They're the most tender and juicy.

  • EXCELLENT ANIMATION,

  • great animation

  • really excellent animation thank you so much for putting this in context. I think having "The Terminator" as the narrator wasn't your best move though as he is a little fast. But otherwise excellent !!!

  • as hearing the voice I imagined the strict teacher with a long bamboo stick in his hand. If you give him a wrong answer he gonna hit you right in the head. :))

    Nice animation though.

  • So informative. By the way, his voice is getting more epic as the end of the vid. lol...

  • skeletor at 3:07

  • @BrainwashedSoftware I would have thought he'd enjoy the lumbosacrol region more since it's more enlarged due to the lumbosacral plexus? :p
