It is expensive but you're not just funding the operation of the hotel - you're funding the massive reforestation and conservation efforts. If you want to just help yourself, by all means, save some money and stay elsewhere. But If you believe that your money should also do good, this is the place. You should also realize that this place is a bargain compared to similarly classed resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, etc.

How come you are so focused on chickens laying eggs and milking cows and useless things? I know that when I stay at Morgan's rock, there will be activities like that, meaning they are pretty much self explanatory. How come you didn't show the dining room, show and talk more about your room, the bathroom, the workers there, the beach. This is basically a nature video, I want to know more about MORGAN'S ROCK!!!!!

this place is beautiful and does help the environment, yet it is overpriced. only the wealthy can stay here. seems quite odd that you would pay hundreds to remain spoiled in a third world country. go out and stay at a hostel or a mom and pop hotel.
san juan del sur has plenty of places to stay and they will all provide you with the same thing: access to amazing beaches. my favorite in san juan is "los cocos."
