i'm enjoying the series very much. one thing that i want to mention is that literally saving the planet is not necessarily off the roster of things to save.
hawking wants to create a black hole. particle physicists associated with a RHIC have made proto strange matter, in the form of gluon plasma and have confessed to wanting to make this strange matter stable.
and this is just the shite that we know about. what the hell else is going on that we don't?
