The cross on the left hung a dying sinner. The cross on the right hung a dying sinner too. But the cross in the middle, hung dear Jesus. The cross in the middle hung the ransome for my soul. Visit http://www.alpha7.org

  • RIP Fred Jackson. I have to get up to the Bay Area to visit my good friends. James and Dwayne always moved me when they sang this song. I haven't talked to James in a couple of years but I hope he has fully recovered from that Blot Clot that put him in the hospital in 2005 I think it was.

  • GOD Bless Brother Fred Jackson who just passed away

  • Correction. This song was written and first performed by Brother Fred Jackson. The Sons do a very good job singing it, but they were not the first to do it.

  • This is my mother's favorite song from The Sons...continued blessings

Hey just wanted to answer your question, My Dad actually sang the original version of this, as my uncle Fred D. Jackson wrote this song. I believe he has this song on a 45" record, i'll ask him to post it. God Bless.
